I have gotten so used to wearing a sweatshirt or hoodie to cover my wet pit stains, and only wearing tank tops in the summer to prevent the embarrassment of having wet armpits in public. When I was younger, my mom took me to the doctor and I was given a prescription. I think it was called Dry Sol? Something like that. Well, you had to put it on and clear wrap your pits over night and wash it off in the morning. That stuff literally ate me skin! When I ordered Sweat Block I have to admit, I felt a little silly since I have tried everything with little to no results, so when I told him I was ordering it, you could see in his eyes that he felt bad if I was let down again. I felt I had nothing to lose.
When I got it in the mail, I really didn’t want to try it because I don’t think I was ready for another let down. I received it on a Monday and didn’t put it on until Thursday night. I had a little irritation in the morning, but nothing compared to what I have had before. It was only in a little spot and I think it was because I got very anxious and dabbed a little to much for my own good. I still did apply a small amount of my usual deodorant because I didn’t want to be stinky and wet if it didn’t work at all. I wanted some sort of back up. It was kind of funny because every time I went to the bathroom at work, I would wait till everyone left and unzip my hoodie and see if my pits were dry. I couldn’t believe that they were!! When I got home, I told my hubby and he had a big smile on his face because he knew how much it meant to me!
The next day we went out to eat and for the first time in like 10 years, I was able to wear a fitted t shirt and take my jacket off in a restaurant and not be wearing a hoodie. It was such a liberating feeling that I have not felt before. I didn’t even go the bathroom before I took my jacket off to do a pit check!!!

Just to give those of you out there reading this an idea of my extent I would have to stick a hand towel under my arms even when doing nothing but reading a book in bed. I have suffered from sweat problems since I was quite young – I am now 31 years of age.
